Welcome to Concord Books. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Orders & payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You represent that your billing and shipping information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Single-copy stock

Almost everything we sell exists in a quantity of one. Adding a copy to your cart does not reserve it — a copy becomes yours when your order is paid. If someone checks out ahead of you, we remove the copy from your cart and tell you before charging anything.

Shipping

We ship to addresses within the United States only, by USPS Media Mail, from Amherst, Massachusetts. Postage is charged at the current Media Mail rate for the weight of your order, and is free on orders of $30 or more before tax. Media Mail typically takes 2–8 business days and is not guaranteed or trackable end to end. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Intellectual property

Our branding, photography and site copy are owned by Concord Books unless otherwise noted. Bibliographic metadata — titles, authors, publication details and cover images — comes from public catalog sources such as Open Library and Google Books and remains with its respective rights holders. Reselling a lawfully acquired secondhand book transfers no rights in its contents.

Feedback

If you provide suggestions or comments about our products or website, you grant Concord Books a royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve our business.
