Return Policy

Buying a secondhand book sight unseen takes some trust. If a copy is not what its listing said it was, we will make it right.

Not as described

If a book arrives in worse shape than its condition grade and copy notes described — missing pages, water damage, markings we failed to mention — contact us within 30 days of delivery at concordbooks@mail2boston.com. Include your order number and a photo of the problem. We refund you in full, return shipping included, and you do not need to ship the book back unless we ask.

Ordinary wear is not a defect

These are used books. Wear consistent with the stated grade — a sunned spine on a Good copy, a previous owner's name inside an Acceptable one — is not a defect. Our condition guide spells out what to expect at each grade, and the copy notes on each listing call out anything unusual.

Changed your mind

Send any book back within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the price you paid, provided it comes back in the condition it left in. Shipping charges are non-refundable and return postage is yours unless the return is our fault.
